Dear Members of the MTC,

It has been several years since I moved from the ministry in Pandamaran. In recent years, my wife and I have made numerous efforts to get involved with the parish ministry. During this time, I was advised to confirm my membership status with the church.

As I pursued this matter, I discovered that my membership was removed because I was ordained as a pastor by another church. I have officially written to the current Vicar of the Banting Parish and am awaiting a written reply.

My wife and I are grateful for the opportunity to have been sponsored as a student at the seminary in Seremban.

It has been more than 22 years since I completed my studies at STM Seremban (1999-2002) and subsequently completed five years of ministry as an Evangelist in Pandamaran (appointed on 1st February 2003 and resigned on 31st March 2007)

The purpose of this message is to request that you contact me directly if you require any explanations, as there are many rumors being spread by some irresponsible individuals. Many members have believed these falsehoods and have been misled. My wife and I sincerely pray that you will endeavor to uncover the truth of the situation, expose those responsible for spreading lies, and pray for us as we seek to serve God independently.

To dispel these lies:

  • We have never started any church after leaving the Pandamaran ministry.
  • My ordination was necessary to be accepted and recognized as a pastor and to be invited as a guest speaker in churches.
  • I have never been a pastor of the church where I was ordained; or at any other churches.
  • We always introduce ourselves as members of the Mar Thoma Church wherever we have traveled for ministry.

Currently, I am available to serve any church that invites us as guest speakers. I am appending the link to my ministry biodata for your reference.

My wife and I are forever grateful to all the well-wishers who contributed to my four-year studies, education, and monthly expenses. Unfortunately, I do not have the list of contributors to thank them personally.

Maranatha! Considering the events around us, our lives are short. Let us strive to be good witnesses, as the motto says: “lighted to lighten.”

Though my wife and I may never be able to officially participate in the church’s ministries, please do not hesitate to contact us if you need any prayers or visitations.

To this end, we pray that God will bless you with abundant lives on earth and grant you eternal life hereafter.

Humbly,

Bobby and Lethisia

Note to ponder:

For the glory of God who called us, it’s important to note that when the ministry was entrusted to us, Pandamaran was empty. However, when we departed, during the last Christmas, we left with 180 children along with their parents. I would like to ask the responsible board members: what has happened to the ministry after all these years? Please reflect on this before any of you endeavour to engage in the Tamil ministry.
