1. Definition of Blessing.

• To have abundance of something to meet your needs & to be a blessing to others
• You have God’s favour
• You are blessed with every aspects in your spiritual life (here on the earth and after life)
• You are blessed with every aspects in your earthly life: finance, good health, good quality of life

Abrahamic Blessing: Deuteronomy 28:3-8 (ESV)

• 3 Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the field. 
• 4 Blessed shall be the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your ground and the fruit of your cattle, the increase of your herds and the young of your flock. 
• 5 Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl. 
• 6 Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out.
• 7 “The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before you. They shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways. 
• 8 The Lord will command the blessing on you in your barns and in all that you undertake. And he will bless you in the land that the Lord your God is giving you.

2. Why The Blessings?

• To rule. Stature.
  • People recognise you for who you and gravitate / or attracted to you
    • Like in business, when contracts come
    • Like in life, when others recognise you, you be an agent of change
• To influence in the respective fraternities. 
  • Where you dictate the pattern for the fraternity you are placed by God. Parable of Talent where the Master assigned them with stature
• To be God’s Partner.
  • You become God’s pocket / funder of God’s projects. The context of Kingdom Business where you dish out for God’s agenda.

The Parable of the Talents Matthew 25:21-23

• 21 His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’ 
• 22 He also who had received two talents came and said, ‘Lord, you delivered to me two talents; look, I have gained two more talents besides them.’ 
• 23 His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’

3. How To Get Your Blessing?

• Principle of Honouring God
  • You love God
  • By desiring / hungering for God 
  • You serve God with every fiber of your being
• Principle of Honour Others
  • Premise:
    • Love your God and parents. 
    • Highly honour your parents, spiritual leaders, those who have blessed you
  • Modus Operandi:
    • In Life Lived To Serve them.
    • A lifestyle of serving in kind to take care of their well-being
    • Meeting their financial needs
• Principle of Posture In The Spirit. Know your spiritual stance / posture / position Eph.1:3
• Principle of Honouring God:
  • In Life Lived To Love God
  • In Life Lived To Serve God
  • In Tithing of Finances

Ephesians 1:3-5

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, 4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, 5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved. 

Ephesians 2:4-6

• Favour. Jesus grew in stature with God and Man
• Little effort yields maximum result / harvest in every areas of your life

• to have a heart of gratitude to God and to others who contributed
