The Role of Visitation
Visiting one another cannot be overemphasised in the New Testament Church model having a 3-fold result (a) believers edified; (b) new believers added and (c) the church grew. Many large churches have adopted cell groups or connect groups or care groups to create a platform for connection or fellowship.
The Author has observed a pattern in most churches not visiting their believers’ home. Even if this is done, only by leaders assigned by the church on an ad hoc basis only. Why not visit believers’ homes?
So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.
Acts 2:46-47 (NKJV)
In this passage, believers met and had good fellowship and the church grew. Today’s church majors on the latter but very less of the former.
And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
Hebrews 10:24,25 (NKJV)
Following the exhortation of Apostle Paul, the believers felt an obligation to meet to encourage one another.
The Role of Pastoral Visitation
But He needed to go through Samaria. So He came to a city of Samaria which is called Sychar, near the plot of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.
John 4:4,5 (NKJV)
Jesus was intentional to meet the woman because He wanted to create a destiny for her. How much more should be done by leaders especially priests, elders and pastors.
Sad Reality
These are days where believers who belong to churches or fellowship are being sidelined at the expense of church activities. How many of us long for someone who would lend their shoulders for them to hang hold on to. If Jesus exemplified visiting, then its time for His under-shepherds to follow suit.

Code of Ethics:
The Church Called Transformation is a global borderless church with neither a building nor a congregation. God has not led the Author to start a church congregation but to be a catalyst for the transformation of ‘dead stones’ in the global church by working alongside pastors. The reason this is mentioned is to rule out any perception against ‘sheep stealing’ that is commonly done by pastors to ‘steal’ members from their churches. ‘Dead stones’ is a phrase that was given to the Author to describe the spiritual condition of believers that is devoid of God when they decline from a relationship with Jesus and live as unbelievers. The Author wants to assure churches and pastors of these applicants that they will only be built spiritually; and become stronger in their relationship with God, thus, be strengthen to serve God and their churches.
